Christine Hudak, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, has been accepted as a contributing author to the book (tentatively) titled The Handbook of Continuing Professional Development for the Health IT Professional, to be published by HIMSS in 2017. Her chapter, “The Many Facets of Continuing Education,” will appear in the section on “The Importance of Lifelong Learning.”

For the third consecutive year, TEAM KENT STATE is actively moving and competing in the national On the Move Challenge. As such, we have once again teamed up with our campus partners at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center to create the On the Move Challenge Rec and Play Day on April 20.

Two grants from Cotton Incorporated will fund collaborative studies between merchandising and design students at ɫҹ’s Fashion School under the leadership of Assistant Professor Gargi Bhaduri, Ph.D., and course studies on social media use in fashion merchandising under Assistant Professor Mourad Krifa, Ph.D.

Last year, the Sport Administration program in the College of Education, Health and Human Services included a class project to organize and promote a special day at Progressive Field for anyone affiliated with ɫҹ University. More than 1,300 people attended to enjoy festivities and a Cleveland Indians baseball game.
