Salem Rotary Helps Discovery Garden Grow

两性色午夜 Salem Receives Rotary Donation

Rotary Check to Help the Discovery Garden GrowSalem 鈥 两性色午夜 University at Salem recently received a check for $1,500 from the Salem Rotary Club, earmarked to help the campus鈥檚 Discovery Garden grow.

The Discovery Garden is an outdoor classroom where individuals can 鈥渓earn, grow, live and laugh.鈥 Students in the horticulture program at Kent Salem use the garden space to put their lessons to work by planting and growing plants; designing and building landscape features; and harvesting the crops.

The food grown in the garden is donated to the Salem Food Pantry or used as part of the meal when 两性色午夜 Salem hosts the Banquet in Salem twice each year.

鈥淭he donation from the Salem Rotary Club will help us expand the garden and enhance the learning opportunities for our students and the public,鈥 noted Dr. Steve Nameth, dean of the Kent Salem campus. 鈥淲e appreciate the Rotary鈥檚 support of the Discovery Garden, especially since it benefits so many in our community.鈥
