Alumni Volunteer Program

Thank you for your interest in the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Alumni Volunteer Program (AVP). This venture was established to promote alumni involvement in the admissions and recruitment process and to help build relationships between alumni and prospective Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ students from across the country. Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ depends on our alumni to help identify and recruit talented high school students for possible admission. The more our alumni share their experiences and the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ story, the further the reach of the Admissions Office.

Kent Student Ambassadors

The Kent Student Ambassadors (KSA) were established by the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Alumni Association in 1983 as a service organization. Today, this premier student group is supported by the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement and is comprised of Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹'s finest students.

Members actively participate in the community and on campus, inspiring pride in Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University. They also educate fellow Flashes on the importance of philanthropy and the role it plays in university operations and student support.

Center for Student Involvement

Kent Student Center

The Kent Student Center is located in the heart of campus. We provide a space for students, faculty, staff and university guests to socialize, study, hold meetings and host events.

Center for Student Involvement

We foster a sense of belonging and connection to campus through engagement and developmental opportunities that complement the academic experience of our students. Getting involved on campus is one of the quickest ways to become part of the university community and create your own Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ experience. The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) offers opportunities for leadership and participation in student-initiated projects and student organizations.
