We safeguard the University by ensuring adherence to regulatory and other requirements from the federal and state levels.

Our NEH Summer Institute 鈥淲hat is Gained in Translation: Learning How to Read Translated Texts鈥 (June 4-24, 2017) is dedicated to the study of texts in translation as a way to develop cross-cultural literacy and to explore what can be gained by addressing issues of translation in the classroom. For scholars in the Humanities and Social Sciences who work with translated texts, this institute will provide the theoretical models and applications developed through Translation Studies that will enable them to exploit translation as a teachable moment.
