Parents
You are a very important partner in your student’s career development process. The Career Services Office in the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship offers career preparation resources, which are located under Students to help your student navigate the path from college to career.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT
We believe that the career development process begins early. In their first semester of freshman year, students will draft a resume and create a LinkedIn profile. We also introduce a career research database and assessment tools for students to utilize in their exploration of occupations. Encourage your student to set small, achievable goals through this exploration process. An important first goal is visiting the Career Services Office. We will assist your student in this exploration process, as well as help to identify internships and full-time opportunities.
PROGRAMMING
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University offers numerous programming to connect students to employers including career fairs, information sessions, alumni career panels and company site visits. Talk with your student about the importance of building relationships with professionals in his or her intended field. We assist students with networking to ensure they can successfully build these relationships with industry professionals. Learn about the Career Services Office programming in the Calendar of Events located under Events.
