When it comes to self-care, Randi Woods, '03, is a natural leader.

In 2016, Randi Woods, ’03, owner and founder of , began a pursuit of better personal care products. As someone with sensitive skin and hair, she struggled to find affordable products for herself and her daughters that contained natural ingredients. Randi began working with a naturopath to understand the effects that different ingredients and chemicals can have on the body, and with that information, she started experimenting with high-quality, organic ingredients to create her own beauty line. As a graduate of the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ School of Fashion, she also relied on her fashion design experience to develop products that wouldn’t leave a residue on fabric and clothing. What started as a personal venture has blossomed into Goods, a small-batch, plant-based beauty and wellness company. Randi knew that she had found formulas that work when she shared her products with loved ones, who found they soothed skin irritations that even steroids struggled to treat. She hopes her products make her clients feel better about themselves and their bodies, and inspire them to explore their own wellness and self-care experiences.

KSU: What is your idea of perfect happiness?
RW: Pure connections, warmth.

KSU: What is your favorite trait in others?
RW: Honest eyes.

KSU: What trait about yourself do you like least?
RW: Super serious sometimes, very literal.

KSU: Who has had the greatest influence on your life?
RW: Probably my daughters.

KSU: What is your favorite Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ memory?
RW: Chalina (my roommate, friend) and Ellee (dormmate, friend) - many silly times where Ellee and I worked very hard to make Chalina (introvert) laugh.

KSU: What is your favorite journey?
RW: Not a fan of journeys. I’ve done better separating things into experiences, then I can enjoy my own intentions, or others’ good intentions, surprises, etc. for me. Well-connected, organic experiences have always been my favorite.

KSU: What is your guilty pleasure?
RW: Bread. I don’t feel guilty, but my body doesn’t feel good.

KSU: What do you consider your greatest achievement?
RW: Making kids laugh. It’s hard work.

KSU: If you could come back as one person, who would it be and why?
RW: Peace out.

KSU: What part of your college experience most formed who you are today?
RW: I met my roommate for the first time and rekindled a childhood friendship during my first couple days on campus. The three of us have been friends since.
