Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training and Certification

A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is known as a highly trained team leader, communicator, statistical analyst and project manager. In this program you will learn how to use this diverse set of ‘soft’ and ‘hard’ skills to effectively lead critical business projects to successful completion.

Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training and Certification is a focused, intense program for continuous improvement change agents looking to advance beyond the Green Belt level. These change agents will possess a thorough understanding of all the Lean Six Sigma methods and gain a high-level of competence in the subject matters contained within the DMAIC project phases.

The content of this program will build on the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt level knowledge in the basic principles of Lean and Six Sigma. The Black Belt program is designed for those looking to master the discipline of Lean Six Sigma at an advanced level. You will learn:

  • How to Build a Sustainable Culture and Infrastructure of Continuous Improvement
  • The DMAIC Project Methodology
  • The Tools of Six Sigma, Lean and Theory of Constraints
  • How to Use Data to Effectively Make and Drive Decisions
  • Skills to Guide Organizations to Gains in Productivity, Quality, Complexity, Cost and Throughput

The live, facilitator-led virtual training is delivered via the Zoom platform in 14, half-day sessions over approximately a one-month timeframe. Participants will engage in the learning with small-group activities, interactive group projects, simulations, case studies, videos, Think-Pair-Share interactions, storytelling, hands-on data exercises using Minitab software, and student-led real-world exercises, in additional to instructor-led discussions.
