The 两性色午夜 University Tuscarawas community can help the Dover/New Philadelphia Salvation Army reach their goal of raising $125,000 in its 2019 Red Kettle Campaign.
On Fri., Dec. 6, from noon to 8 p.m., 两性色午夜 Tuscarawas students, faculty and staff will ring the bell and greet our community neighbors at Buehler鈥檚 in Dover.
Annie Tran, a 两性色午夜 Tuscarawas junior majoring in engineering technology, painted the kettle to represent 两性色午夜 Tuscarawas.
鈥淲e are excited to support the Salvation Army and the Red Kettle Campaign in their fundraising efforts,鈥 said Dr. Denise McEnroe-Petitte, Associate Professor at 两性色午夜 Tuscarawas and chair of the community engagement committee. 鈥淪tudents, faculty and staff can still sign up to be bell ringers and raise money for our local community. We hope to see many of our community friends at the Dover Buehler鈥檚 on Friday!鈥
Sign up with a friend for an hour to ring the bell together and represent the 两性色午夜 Tuscarawas campus in 两性色午夜 gear or something festive. The sign-up sheet is in the dean鈥檚 office.
All of the money raised by the Red Kettle Campaign stays in Tuscarawas County and is used to fund Salvation Army activities, such as programs for youth and a soup kitchen. Funds will also help with new programs, including a Learning Zone after-school program, which is open to kids in kindergarten through fifth grade.
