Grammy Winner Rick Springfield to Play PAC

Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Rick Springfield brings his Stripped Down show to the Performing Arts Center at 两性色午夜 University at Tuscarawas on Jan. 5 at 7:30 p.m.

 

Over the past three decades, Rick Springfield has worn many hats as an entertainer and performer. The creator of some of the finest power-pop of the 鈥80s, he鈥檚 sold 25 million albums and scored 17 U.S. Top 40 hits, including 鈥淛essie鈥檚 Girl,鈥 鈥淒on鈥檛 Talk to Strangers,鈥 鈥淎n Affair of the Heart,鈥 鈥淚've Done Everything for You,鈥 鈥淟ove Somebody,鈥 and 鈥淗uman Touch.鈥 He鈥檚 an accomplished actor who has starred opposite Meryl Streep in the feature film Ricki and the Flash, gave a chameleonic performance as the creepy Dr. Pitlor in HBO鈥檚 prestige drama True Detective, earned great reviews for his portrayal of Lucifer this season on the CW hit, Supernatural and most recently played Pastor Charles on American Horror Story. In 2014, Springfield was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located around the corner from the first apartment he lived in when he first arrived in the U.S. from Australia in 1971.

 

Tickets for Rick Springfield: Stripped Down start at $54 and are on sale now at the Performing Arts Center box office, 330.308.6400 or online at www.kent.edu/tusc/pac. The box office is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
