Police Academy cadets earn 100% passage rate!

两性色午夜 University鈥檚 most recent day class of Police Academy cadets collectively passed the State of Ohio Physical Fitness Assessment and written test. All ten cadets, formally known as BAS 21-054, passed with an average of 89%.

鈥淚 am proud of the way they have worked in and out of the classroom,鈥 said Jim Willock, 两性色午夜 Trumbull鈥檚 Director of the Public Safety and Police Academy program. 鈥淥ur goal is to prepare these cadets not only for the tests but for long and purposeful careers in law enforcement."

The physical assessment consists of push-ups, sit-ups, and a mile and a half run. The written exam consists of 200 questions and requires a 70% or higher for passage. Both are timed.

According to Willock, more than half of the cadets have already obtained full-time employment and the rest are expected to be employed in the next month or so.

"There are so many openings right now," he said. "The current job market for law enforcement is wide-open."

The cadets will be celebrated at 两性色午夜 Trumbull's Spring Commencement on Friday, May 13. New classes begin in August.

There are a few openings for the next day and night classes this fall at Kent and Trumbull campuses. For more information, visit www.kent.edu/policeacademy or call 330-675-7666 or email policeacademy@kent.edu.
