Warren, OH (June 13, 2022) - Following a national search, Adil M. Wadia, Ph.D., F.G.S., of Orrville, Ohio, has been selected as the new assistant dean of 两性色午夜 University at Trumbull. Wadia most recently served as a senior lecturer of Geosciences at the University of Akron's Wayne Campus. He joins 两性色午夜 Trumbull on Monday, June 13, 2022.
"I am coming to this new position with plenty of experience at a regional campus, so I am familiar with common challenges as well as the opportunities," Wadia said. "This is a great team in Trumbull, and I look forward to doing my part to help the campus evolve and meet the needs of this community."
Wadia joins the campus management team led by Bill Ayres, Ph.D., dean and chief administrative officer, who, this spring, completed his first semester at the campus.
"As a long-time faculty member of a regional campus, he understands our mission's importance and role within the larger university," Ayres said. "He brings a wide range of experience in curriculum development, course scheduling, assessment, and faculty development. Given his background and passion for our work, I believe he will be an excellent asset to our team."
Wadia has worked at the University of Akron's Wayne Campus since 2005. He served as an area coordinator and an associate professor before becoming a senior lecturer in 2021. He is a member of the Geological Society of America and an elected Fellow of the Geological Society of London (U.K.).
