The School of Theatre and Dance’s Design, Technology and Production program has been selected by as one of the top 30 programs for the 2019-2020 academic year.
In the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ ranking, On Stage highlights faculty member Jakyung Seo, associate professor of lighting design, whose credits include Steppenwolf and Congo Square Theatre (Chicago), Eye to Soul (NYC), CATCO (Columbus), Porthouse Theatre, and Lodestone Theatre (LA).
The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Design, Technology and Production program prepares students for careers as professional theatre designers, technicians and artisans. Students receive training in traditional and new methods of theatrical design and technology, focusing their studies in costume design, lighting design, scenic design, sound design, and/or stage management.
Alumni of the BFA Design, Technology, and Production program currently work nationally and internationally on Broadway and national tours, in film and television and at educational institutions.
