Black Box Series presents "A New Home," musical cabaret featuring American Sign Language, February 19-20

Each semester, the School of Theatre and Dance's Black Box Series presents a collection of student produced works. These productions are provide students with opportunities to direct, write, perform, stage manage, and design existing and original works in a laboratory environment. Due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020-2021 Black Box Series is being presented virtually.

On February 19 and 20, 2021, the Black Box Series will present a pre-recorded production of a musical cabaret, A New Home. Directed by School of Theatre and Dance student Lauren Elledge, A New Home  is a cabaret-style musical production translated and performed with American Sign Language including songs about Ohio, New York City, and themes of 'home'. .
