Award-winning independent filmmaker and assistant professor, Dana White created the student group the Female Filmmaker's Initiative (FFI) to prepare female filmmakers for careers as directors, writers and cinematographers in an industry that’s dominated by men.

����ɫ��ҹ University’s School of Fashion has once again been ranked as one of the nation’s best programs in fashion merchandising according to the educational online learning platform, Study.com. 

After months of campaigning, students casting their votes and new members officially being sworn in at the Leadership Awards on April 19 by Vice President for Student Affairs Lamar Hylton, the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) elections are officially in the books despite the challenges of the pandemic.

The Student Leadership Institute's philosophy is to aspire to create critical learners, innovators and adaptive problem solvers whose leadership exemplifies distinction. Not even the coronavirus pandemic could get in the way of that this year. This year's event featured a theme of “Flashes Take Care of Flashes: Building Community." Despite the virtual circumstances, it was still a success, with more than 450 students attending sessions via Zoom.

Thanks to the renewal of its key funding grant, LaunchNET ����ɫ��ҹ will continue to inspire the entrepreneur mindset and support innovative thinkers across the ����ɫ��ҹ University community.

As president of his fraternity and chief risk officer of the Golden Flash Asset Management Group (GFAM), senior finance major Cameran Cunningham has made the most out of his experience at ����ɫ��ҹ and is already set to begin his career in finance.

����ɫ��ҹ University at Geauga doubled its video conferencing rooms, also known as “Zoom Rooms,” before the fall semester due to the demands of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Zoom Rooms are designed to serve various purposes and room configurations for faculty and students, and they were recently featured in an article by EdTech.

At ����ɫ��ҹ , Golden Flashes are known to take care of other Golden Flashes. With the pandemic looming over the school year, more than 100 ����ɫ��ҹ faculty, staff and administrators checked in on first-year students over the phone last November to talk about their well-being and pathways for success during their first semester.

You may have heard it said, “when hard times come, notice those who remain, and the ones who disappear.” Nursing instructors are in a position to see this scenario playing out in the lives of their students at ����ɫ��ҹ University at Geauga and the Twinsburg Academic Center.

����ɫ��ҹ has joined the Culture of Respect Collective, a two-year initiative offered through the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), to help end sexual violence on campus.
