“I am tremendously thankful for the private support throughout the year from alumni, friends, corporations and foundations,” President Warren said. “We are able to offer so much more to our growing student population because of these gifts. Additionally, our record fundraising year tells me that we are gaining our supporters’ vote of confidence in our mission to put students first in all we do.”

The ����ɫ��ҹ University Alumni Association has announced the seven recipients of the 2017 Alumni Awards.

Alliance Middle School students are more likely to make healthy lifestyle choices after attending a health and wellness fair presented by a group of senior nursing students from ����ɫ��ҹ University College of Nursing. The adolescents rotated through four exhibits which focused on positive self-talk, mindfulness and stress management, the importance of sleep, and anti-bullying and building healthy relationships.

Education at ����ɫ��ҹ University goes beyond books, lectures and classroom walls. At ����ɫ��ҹ, we help instill in students a sense of purposeful living; we help our students appreciate the importance of leaving a legacy of excellence, both professionally and personally.

����ɫ��ҹ University has received a $2.5 million gift for its Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Fashion Design and Merchandising from the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation of Hudson, Ohio. This gift will endow a Fashion School chair and support the study-away program for students.

����ɫ��ҹ received a grant for $1 million from the Gawlicki Family Foundation of Hartford, Connecticut, to fund the development of a state-of-the-art distance learning translation studies program. “This transformational gift … will enable us to better fulfill our global mission by bringing our outstanding translational studies program to the world through a high-quality, technology-rich distance learning platform,” said ����ɫ��ҹ President, Beverly Warren.

Two academic scholarships help ����ɫ��ҹ University fashion merchandising major Amari Thomas shine brightly inside and outside the classroom.

Bert Crawford is a former foster child with a difficult past and a future that seemed bleak. But he broke the mold and rose above his challenges thanks to many opportunities, including his own determination, ����ɫ��ҹ’s incredible study-abroad options and the generosity of donors.

The 2017 ����ɫ��ҹ Alumni Day of Service, held April 29, was our biggest yet, with close to 400 volunteers serving at 27 locations around the world! This year, we have a fantastic highlight video to showcase our volunteers' collective, impactful efforts to shape the world around them.
