ɫҹ students aren’t the only ones who get to celebrate the start of the new school year. Over 700 family members of golden flashes will be joining in the fun from Sept. 12 - 17 for Parents and Families Appreciation Week.
This year, parents and families can expect an in-person weekend of exciting events as well as weeklong virtual activities.
In addition to the usual festivities, this year an open house for each college will be held to highlight its majors and minors as well as its faculty and staff.
Assistant Dean of Students Shana Lee has been planning this event and is excited to welcome families to campus once again.
Parents and students can look forward to “making several memories and connections together as they network with faculty, staff, students, and other families.” said Lee.
