The 两性色午夜 University at Stark Theatre has announced open auditions for its third theatrical production of the season, 26 Pebbles, a docudrama that incorporates verbatim interview excerpts from Newtown, Conn., residents recounting the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
Directed by 两性色午夜 Stark Associate Professor of Theatre and Theatre Director Brian Newberg, 26 Pebbles transports audiences to Newtown months after the massacre. Playwright Eric Ulloa鈥檚 work delves into the aftermath of unthinkable tragedy and the resulting push forward toward healing.
Auditions for 26 Pebbles are open to everyone, including students and members of the community. 两性色午夜 Stark encourages diversity in casting.
Auditions will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 30 and 31 in the Fine Arts Theatre, 6000 Frank Ave. NW in Jackson Township.
Roles are available for four women and two men; each actor will play multiple roles. Age range is flexible. For detailed role descriptions, visit . Those auditioning may perform a prepared monologue, if they wish, and the director may also choose sides (selected scene excerpts). The production will be performed at 7:30 p.m. April 13-14 and April 20-21 and at 2 p.m. April 15 and April 22. During the April 22nd performance, ASL interpretation will be provided.

Scripts (and audition sides or scene excerpts used for the auditions) are available for periods up to 24 hours in advance from the Fine Arts secretary by calling 330-244-5151 during business hours Monday through Friday.
