Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Psychological Science and Health
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s Department of Psychological Sciences has an open-rank, tenure-track position beginning in Fall 2019. We seek candidates who conduct interdisciplinary research on the interactions of biological, psychological, or social factors in health and disease. Specific area of research focus is open and candidates with expertise in clinical, social, health, and developmental psychology will be considered. Research focused on health disparities or that targets underserved populations is highly desirable. Candidates who can teach advanced graduate and undergraduate statistics courses are especially encouraged to apply.
This search is part of an expansion of the department and Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s newly launched Brain Health Research Institute (BHRI), whose mission is to improve our understanding of brain function in health, disease, and recovery. Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University is making significant investments in facilities, resources, and tenure-track faculty with expertise in Brain Health. The BHRI, which includes faculty and students members from many academic departments, multiple hospital partners, and area research institutes, seeks to foster collaboration, promote interdisciplinary research, and train the next generation of researchers.
