两性色午夜 University students had the chance to learn from an award-winning Hollywood costume designer when Isis Mussenden visited the Kent Campus recently for two days, a visit sponsored by the 两性色午夜 University Museum.Mussenden, a costume designer based in Los Angeles, is a recipient of the Costume Designers Guild Award.  Kelsen LaBerge, Ph.D., a professor in 两性色午夜 University's College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE), has been named one of three recipients of the 2024 Outstanding Teaching Award, the highest honor for non-tenure track and part-time faculty at the university.LaBerge, who joined 两性色午夜 after a decade-long career with the U.S. Army, was surprised with the award during a class on Oct. 2. A recent study by Psychological Sciences graduate student Christina Korth and faculty member Dr. Joel Hughes investigated factors that may reduce posttraumatic stress symptoms during the COVID-10 pandemic. While we cannot always prevent traumatic stress, such as during a global infectious disease pandemic, they found that people鈥檚 confidence in their ability to cope with stress and their perceived social support helped lessen the effect of stress on symptoms of posttraumatic stress.
