The Northern Lights are caused by interactions between the sun's solar winds and the Earth's protective magnetic field. This causes geomagnetic storms and increased geomagnetic activity.   The annual Rainbow Weekend in downtown Kent is a wonderful example of the outstanding "town-gown" relationship between Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University and the city of Kent.
