Kelly Baldwin
Biography
I began my professional career in the field of museum education, spending nearly a decade working for children鈥檚 museums in Boston and Chicago to develop and facilitate innovative, child- and family-centered programs for museum visitors, school groups, teachers, and our larger communities. I then spent several years team-teaching a play-based, Reggio-inspired Junior Kindergarten classroom in Chicago before joining the 两性色午夜 Child Development Center teaching team in 2012. I have also had the privilege to study and teach internationally, with my education-based work taking place in Italy, Japan, Mexico, and India. My professional interests focus primarily on social justice issues in education, including anti-bias curriculum, critical multicultural education, and critical media studies. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from 两性色午夜 University, a Master of Arts degree in the Social and Cultural Foundations in Education from DePaul University, and a Graduate Certificate in Women鈥檚 and Gender Studies from DePaul University.
