likes most about kent state university:
All the people. I have been interacting with lots of kind individuals who have no qualm in interrupting their day to help me get acclimated to the campus.
ATTRACTION TO KENT STATE UNIVERSITY AS AN EMPLOYER:
ɫҹ offered several appealing aspects. First was the dedication to Community. Helping people be better is one of the key reasons I entered the law enforcement / security fields. KSU seemed passionate about that which aligned with my beliefs. Secondly, as I went through the interview process, I witnessed an environment where the staff seemed to view co-workers as family, and it was evident in their interaction with each other. It made me want to be a part of that as opposed to being “just a number” somewhere else.
RESIDES IN:
Medina, Ohio
HOMETOWN:
Parma, OH
EDUCATION:
I have achieved an Associate’s Degree, Law Enforcement from Cuyahoga Community College. I am a Certified Law Enforcement Executive through the Ohio Law Enforcement Foundation, and a Certified Firearms Instructor through the Ohio Peace Officer’s Training Academy.
HOBBIES:
I am an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan. I enjoy spending time on my motorcycle unwinding the stress of the day with some “wind therapy.” I love music and have a little north of 20,000 songs in my music library, but the favorite bands are Rush and Sugarland. To channel my “inner nerd,” I enjoy all things in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (The Avengers), to the point where I have gotten my wife and two teens addicted. We make it a family event to see every new movie on opening weekend.
