Employee, Family and Friends Enjoy Men’s Basketball Open Practice

More than 100 faculty and staff recently braved a cold and snowy afternoon to take full advantage of a rare opportunity to attend an open practice at the MACC, hosted by the Division of Human Resources.

This behind-the-scenes access to KSU's hoopsters afforded employees, family and friends the chance to watch the team execute numerous drills focused on shooting, rebounding, defending and executing fast breaks.

Guests enjoyed free food and beverages courtesy of Beef O Brady’s in Brimfield, and collected gifts at the door. Complimentary tickets were also distrusted for the women’s (10-4) and men’s (12-4) basketball double-header versus Central Michigan and Northern Illinois on Jan. 19 at the MACC.

Additional sponsors included Klaben Auto Stores and T-Mobile. You can view a photo slide show of the open practice directly below.

Head coach Rob Senderoff, his staff and players thanked guests for their support and encouraged attendance at home games. HR congratulates Senderoff, who recently became KSU’s most successful coach by notching 150 wins.

The men’s team currently ranks third, while the women occupy the top spot in the Eastern Division of the Mid-American Conference. Go Flashes!
