Division of People, Culture and Belonging announces AVP searches

The Division of People, Culture and Belonging seeks strategic leaders to serve as Associate Vice President for Culture and Belonging and Associate Vice President for People and Culture (Human Resources). These two positions will report to Vice President Amoaba Gooden and provide executive-level leadership for several units within the division.

In September 2023, the divisions of Human Resources and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion merged to create the new Division of People, Culture and Belonging. This new division enhances 两性色午夜鈥檚 focus on inclusive excellence and the well-being of people and organizational culture. The leadership positions will serve a key role in advancing the university鈥檚 institutional mission and vision and commitment to demonstrate a culture of care, kindness and respect.

Building the New Division

Following the announcement of the merger between Human Resources and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, a process team was created to determine next steps and overall structure of the new division. This team consists of members of the university within the new division as well as representatives from other units. The following subcommittees were also formed:

  • Culture Subcommittee
  • Process Subcommittee
  • Research Subcommittee
  • Technology Subcommittee
  • Communications Subcommittee
