Fall 2020 Schedule Information for Students

Dear Students,

By now, you should’ve received an email from the University Registrar letting you know that your Fall 2020 schedule has been updated. Please take the time to review your Fall 2020 schedule by logging into . From there, go to Student > Resources > Courses and Registration then choose “View or Print Course Schedule and Purchase Textbooks.â€

On your schedule, you may see ‘Remote-Course’ as the location of a class. This means your class that was originally scheduled to be taught in-person has transitioned to being taught remotely. The number of in-person classes versus remote classes is dependent on how we are able to best use our classrooms in accordance with physical distancing guidelines set forth by the state. We have maximized the use of all our spaces so that we could make as many in-person classes safely available as possible.

I want to assure you that your classes will still be relevant, challenging, and engaging! Many of our faculty have participated in summer workshops, which will help them to enhance their courses further and prepare for a high-quality experience for each student.

Technology in each classroom at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center will allow students who are immunocompromised or have underlying health conditions to participate remotely in in-person classes. If this applies to you, complete the pandemic adjustment request form. You will be contacted by a Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ staff member who will help make arrangements for you to participate remotely.

Please know if you plan to drop a course, it may adversely affect several of the following: financial aid, scholarships, tuition, and fee credit; Veteran Affairs educational benefits; Academic Progress towards Degree Completion; and Enrollment Verification for medical and automobile insurance. I urge you to please contact your academic advisor if you have any questions about your schedule, want to drop a class, or need to make updates to your schedule.

The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center team is here for you! Visit our Academic Advising page to schedule an advising appointment. We want you to have a successful Fall 2020 semester and will do anything in our means to make sure that happens.

Stay Safe and Have a Happy Holiday Weekend!
