Spring 2018 Bowman Breakfast Celebrates 55 Years of Town-Gown Collaboration in Kent

For 55 years, leaders from 两性色午夜 University and the city of Kent have met over breakfast to foster successful collaboration between the university and the city.

The semiannual Bowman Breakfast, which began in 1963, brings together leaders from 两性色午夜 and the city of Kent in a forum designed to advance community issues and strengthen the town-gown relationship.

The topic for this year鈥檚 spring Bowman Breakfast is 鈥淭own-Gown Relations 鈥 Working Together Makes It Work!鈥

The event will take place Wednesday, April 4, in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. Doors open at 7 a.m., breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and the program follows from 8-9 a.m.

Featured speakers from the city are David Ruller, city manager; Jim Bowling, P.E., superintendent of engineering and deputy service director; and Mike Lewis, Kent Police lieutenant. Representing the university are Mark Polatajko, Ph.D., senior vice president for finance and administration; Tom Euclide, associate vice president for facilities planning and operations; and Dean Tondiglia, 两性色午夜 Police chief and director of public safety. Todd Kamenash, 两性色午夜鈥檚 assistant dean of students and director of student conduct, will moderate the discussion.
