The Graduate Student Orientation (GSO) program seeks to employ high-achieving, energetic and engaged graduate students from a wide range of academic disciplines to assist with the planning and implementation of the Graduate Student Orientation. The fall 2016 orientation will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 23, and Wednesday, Aug. 24.
Graduate Student Orientation teaching fellows are expected to serve as positive role models for graduate students, and are asked to be available to their fellow graduate students beyond the orientation program in a mentoring capacity, if called upon. Graduate Student Orientation team members will be under contract for Summer III (July 19-Aug. 18) and will receive a stipend of $1,600 for their work. Leaders are expected to attend all summer meetings.
The deadline to complete the application for the 2016 Teaching Fellowship Application is Friday, April 1, at 11:59 p.m.
