I teach courses on African-American, Caribbean and African literatures, post-colonialism, black cinema and conduct research on such topics in relation to black Atlantic studies, transnationalism and cosmopolitanism

Listening to a variety of music (such as reggae, blues, jazz, Afrobeat, salsa, hip-hop, R&B, disco, country and rock); watching all kinds of films (silent, black, Hollywood and foreign cinema); collecting LPs and cleaning my sound systems.
