两性色午夜 University at Salem was well-represented earlier this month at the Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologists annual education seminar by students who competed, as well as by faculty and staff members who participated and helped organize the event.
The students graduate in May, each with an associate of applied science degree in radiologic technology.
Katrina Crimaldi received the OSRT Education and Research Foundation Honors Grant.
The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology Academic Excellence Award was presented to Avery Wilson, while Katelin Knapp was the recipient of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology Clinical Excellence Award.
Presenting the only two posters submitted at the meeting were Kennedy and Abbey Sheronovich, with 鈥淎utomated Breast Ultrasound System;鈥 while Katelin Knapp and Jen Lawrence presented 鈥淴-ray Phase Contrast Imaging.鈥
The academic challenge quiz bowl team from the Salem Campus included Holly Graham, Ashley Piper, Ashlee Strebler, Kennedy, Knapp, Lawrence and Sheronovich.
The annual meeting showcases the latest in technology and educational advances and several members of the 两性色午夜 Salem staff participated in this year鈥檚 event. Jan Gibson, program director of the radiologic technology program at 两性色午夜 Salem, along with Margie Iagulli, senior lecturer, authored and administered the Philip W. Ballinger Self-Assessment Exam to 150 students from 15 Ohio radiologic technology programs.
Judy Miller, the clinical coordinator for the radiologic technology program, was installed on the board of directors of the OSRT.
Kelly Dragomir, lecturer in radiologic technology and CT, presented a session during the meeting entitled 鈥淢ore Than Just Lead: Radiation Dose Reduction Techniques in Computed Technology.鈥
