Following a survey visit with the Ohio Board of Nursing this past October, the 两性色午夜 University鈥檚 College of Applied and Technical Studies Associate Degree of Nursing program (in accordance with Rule 4723-5-06 of the Ohio Administrative Code) met and maintained all requirements of Chapter 4723-5.
The Ohio Board of Nursing will consider the survey visit report and the program鈥檚 re-approval status at its January 13-14, 2021, meeting.
鈥淚 tip my hat to Dr. Carol Hrusovsky for heading up this project,鈥 noted Dr. David Dees, dean and CAO of the Columbiana County Campuses and interim vice president of System Integration. 鈥淣ot only is she the program director for the East Liverpool ADN program, she also serves as the interim senior academic program director and program administrator for the KSU-ADN programs. This includes overseeing the programs on the East Liverpool, Tuscarawas and Ashtabula campuses, as well as the Twinsburg Academic Center.
鈥淧reparing for a reaccreditation survey always requires a lot of work by a lot of people. Given the unusual circumstances created by the COVID pandemic, however, this survey was particularly challenging. I am so proud of the effort put forth by everyone involved to make this happen. I know it was exhausting at times, but the end result reflects the caliber of people who are leading these programs throughout our system.鈥
Hrusovsky also thanked the faculty, staff and 两性色午夜 University administration for
the support given to the associate degree of nursing program, especially during the survey period.
