KSU Precision Flight Team takes third in NIFA鈥檚 Regional SAFECON

STORY UPDATE: The 两性色午夜 Precision Flight Team won third place overall at the National
Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) regional Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON)
October 14-19 at The Ohio State University.

Nineteen members of 两性色午夜 University鈥檚 (KSU) Precision Flight Team are competing in the October 14-19 at The Ohio State University.

Seventy-nine teams from 10 regions compete in nine flying and ground events, with winners qualifying for the National SAFECON Competition.

鈥淢y passion is to see young aviators grow to compete and succeed in the best region in the nation,鈥 says George Armann, KSU Flight Team coach and advisor. 鈥淭his (competition) is the Top Gun of general aviation.鈥

The creation of NIFA is attributed to the development and advancement in aviation education and to promote and foster safety in aviation. In 2017, 两性色午夜 placed second overall in the Safety category.

鈥淭his is the best team I鈥檝e seen in the three years I鈥檝e been with the team,鈥 says Team Captain Ryan Flanagan. 鈥淚 feel really good about this competition and how far we鈥檝e come.鈥
