Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ alumnus Pawan Verma MBA ’08, EVP and Global Chief Information Officer at MetLife, reflected on his career and discussed future opportunities and challenges for business leaders during the Executive MBA Speaker Series in November.
The event, held at the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, provided current Executive MBA students and guests with an opportunity to engage with Verma and ask questions.
Verma oversees a team of more than 11,000 technologists and is responsible for leading software development, digital customer experience, technology strategy, architecture, and shared technology platforms to drive remarkable customer experiences that differentiate MetLife. He sees technology solutions through the eyes of customers, recognizing the need to balance high-tech and human touch to enable commercial success.
Previous roles for Verma include EVP, Global Chief Information and Customer Experience Officer at Foot Locker; Vice President – Digital Technology and API Platforms at Target and Senior VP – Architecture and Product Engineering at Verizon.
