2015 Ohio Science Olympiad Workshop

两性色午夜 Ashtabula will be hosting their 4th annual Ohio Science Olympiad workshop for middle and high school students to practice for their events.  With our instructors and professors, participants study science topics relating to events in which they will compete at the regional, state and national level.  This year鈥檚 event also includes a keynote speaker, Dr. Tara C. Smith, from the College of Public Health at 两性色午夜 University.  Her speech, titled 鈥淓bola and Emerging Diseases: Why we鈥檒l always have pandemics,鈥 will begin at 11:00 AM.  The event begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 1:50 PM.  For more information, contact Gary Misich, Academic Lab Manager, at 440-964-4561 or gmisich@kent.edu.

两性色午夜 University at Ashtabula鈥檚 financial aid office will host a pair of FAFSA Nights to aid students and families work their way through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the college financial aid process.

Students and agencies throughout northeastern Ohio are the beneficiaries of 两性色午夜 University's College of Applied and Technical Studies' new Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program, currently offered in a hybrid model through the Ashtabula, Salem and Tuscarawas Campuses. 

Program director and lecturer Matt Butler, MSSA, LISW-S, LICDC-CS recently welcomed the Star Beacon into one of his classes in the Zoom Room for a first-hand look at the growing program and its potential to make a huge impact in our area.

两性色午夜 University at Ashtabula鈥檚 annual Giving Tuesday fundraising drive began on Nov. 1, 2024, aimed at supporting the Susan J. Stocker Ashtabula Campus Development Fund toward renovation and improvements to the John W. Zabak Conference Suite 鈥 the Blue and Gold, Oak and Lake Rooms 鈥 within Susan J. Stocker Hall.
