Larry and Sandy Disbro are lifelong members of Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Alumni Association’s Lake County Alumni Chapter and serve as board members as well as officers for the chapter (president, vice president, treasurer and historian). Both Larry and Sandy are also life members of the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Alumni Association and have actively supported Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ initiatives for more than 40 years. 

Larry is a member of the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Golden Flashes Club and Honorary Varsity K. He has served on the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Intercollegiate Athletic council since 2009. And served on the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University National Alumni Board of Directors from 1995 through 2002 and served as secretary for a year.  Sandy has volunteered with the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Admission’s Office, served as Homecoming parade judge for more than 10 years and also has co-chaired several committees for the Lake County Alumni Chapter. 

As a student at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹, Larry was selected for Gamma Theta Upsilon, International Honorary Geographical Society, co-founded the Ohio Kappa Chapter, Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and played on the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ baseball team. Sandy was also very active during her time at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹. She was part of the  Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Dance Team, Flasherettes and tennis team.

Larry and Sandy are avid Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ sports fans and longtime season ticket holders. Their daughter, Kellee Disbro, ’06 is also a Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ graduate and has been involved with the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Alumni Association's Southern California Chapter.
